Job summary

Goodwin Procter LLP seeks a Client Development Co-op to support the Client Development Department across the firm's industries and practice areas. You will help create marketing collateral and assist with research on clients, companies, and market trends.

You will also support firm events, draft submissions for directories, maintain databases, and contribute to thought leadership and branding initiatives. This role offers exposure to cross-functional teams within a leading law firm.

Qualifications

• Prior experience (co-op or internship) in a marketing, or in a professional services environment strongly preferred.
• Effective and professional communicator, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing assignments.
• Strong organizational skills with particular attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, including web-based research, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• A willingness to learn new software and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize and disseminate marketing and pitch collateral.
• Research legal and industry-specific projects with a focus on clients, companies, competitors, and the developing market.
• Providing hands-on support during firm events and sponsored program.
• Assist with drafting submissions for legal directories, league tables, and rankings.
• Ensure internal databases remain accurate and up to date.
• Assist in thought leadership campaigns, and other branding opportunities.
