Job summary

The Yale Divinity Library seeks a Librarian for World Christianity to advance international outreach and diverse global collections. The role involves teamwork with subject specialists, outreach to Yale Divinity School students and faculty, and collaboration with area studies librarians to reflect Christianity’s world scope.

Reporting to the Library Director, the Librarian for World Christianity participates in committees and professional societies, coordinates visiting scholar and fellowship

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an ALA-accredited library school or equivalent.
• Master's degree from an ATS-accredited divinity school or related field.
• Experience building diverse library collections with international scope.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to students and faculty, with focus on international students and scholars.
• Collaborate with area studies librarians to strengthen global collection development.
• Participate in committees and engage with regional/international professional societies.
• Coordinate visiting scholar and fellowship programs and support international partnerships.
