Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager – Chemicals Reagents to lead enterprise-wide sourcing strategies for chemicals and reagents used across waste-to-energy and industrial facilities. You will build partnerships with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and supply reliability while guiding cross-functional teams.

The role involves managing a diverse portfolio (lime, ammonia, urea, water treatment chemicals, carbon products, industrial gases, lubricants) and traveling up to 30%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, supply chain, or commercial management.
• Experience in chemical industry procurement or related technical background with sourcing experience.
• Experience developing and executing category or commodity strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-wide commodity strategies for chemicals and reagents.
• Lead sourcing across market analysis, RFI/RFP/RFQ development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting and value realization.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key chemical and reagent suppliers.
• Lead supplier reviews, scorecards, escalations and joint improvement plans.
• Ensure cost, safety, quality, service and supply continuity across suppliers and sites.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics and Finance to optimize freight, inventory, and supply reliability.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, standardization and total-cost improvement.
