Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager – Chemicals Reagents to lead enterprise-wide strategy, sourcing, and supplier partnerships for chemicals used across waste-to-energy plants and facilities. You will manage a broad portfolio including lime, ammonia, urea, water treatment chemicals, and industrial gases, driving cost optimization and supply reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, supply chain, or commercial management.
• Experience in chemical industry procurement or strong technical background with procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide commodity strategies for chemicals and reagents.
• Lead sourcing process: market analysis, RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and benefit tracking.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with chemical and reagent suppliers.
• Lead supplier reviews, scorecards, escalations, and joint improvement plans.
• Ensure cost, safety, quality, service, delivery, and supply continuity across suppliers.
• Collaborate with Operations and Logistics to optimize freight, inventory, and tank utilization.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and total-cost improvement.
• Balance enterprise strategies with site-specific requirements; partner across facilities.
• Support qualification, specifications reviews, plant trials, and risk assessments.
