Reworld seeks a Senior Global Commodity Manager – Chemicals Reagents to drive enterprise-wide sourcing for chemicals used in waste-to-energy plants and related facilities. You will develop strategies, manage supplier partnerships, and optimize total cost while balancing site needs.

You will lead cross-functional sourcing events, monitor markets, qualify suppliers, and deliver measurable savings. Some travel up to 30% is required as you collaborate across regions and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, or related fields.
• Experience developing and executing category or commodity strategies.
• Experience managing strategic suppliers and improving supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide commodity strategies for chemicals and reagents.
• Lead the sourcing process, including market analysis, RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and benefit tracking.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key chemical and reagent suppliers.
• Lead supplier reviews, scorecards, escalations, and joint improvement plans.
• Ensure cost, safety, quality, service, delivery, and reliability across suppliers.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics to optimize freight, inventory, and supply reliability.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and total-cost improvement.
• Balance enterprise strategies with site-specific technical requirements.
• Travel up to 30%, potentially international.
