East West Bank, a premier bank focused on U.S.-Asia markets, seeks a Head of Channels to lead strategy and product direction for GTP’s client-facing channels. You will unify cash-management, APIs, embedded finance and cross-border capabilities across the U.S., Hong Kong and China to deliver coherent client experiences.

Formación

• 15+ years in transaction banking or related disciplines.
• Deep experience with online cash management, open APIs, host-to-host and embedded finance.
• Strong cross-border payments, FX and global cash management knowledge.
• Proven track record delivering product strategy and roadmaps across multiple functions.
• Experience managing major tech vendors and fintech partnerships.
• Strong commercial orientation with business cases and revenue objectives.
• U.S.-Asia cross-border experience, especially Hong Kong and China, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own GTP’s channel strategy and roadmap across cash-management channels, Business Bridge Premier, APIs, host-to-host/file transmission and embedded finance.
• Establish a coherent future-state architecture and client experience across channels, with clear positioning by client segment and use case.
• Lead product management, prioritization, commercialization, lifecycle management and revenue management for GTP channels.
• Ensure roadmap decisions reflect client needs, commercial opportunity, risk, operational readiness, technology dependencies and measurable returns.
• Develop consistent approaches to pricing, billing, entitlements, security, fraud controls, onboarding, servicing and client experience across channels.
• Cross-Border & Global Capabilities: Make cross-border a core design principle of the channel strategy, focus on U.S.-Hong Kong-China corridor, extend solutions globally.
• Partner with Hong Kong and China teams to develop integrated solutions for clients operating across markets, including account visibility, payments, FX, collections, liquidity, trade and reporting.
• Translate U.S.-Asia expertise into differentiated cross-border packages and digital experiences.
• Identify capability gaps and prioritize practical solutions for clients across countries.
• Work with GTP product leaders to expose new payment rails, currencies, FX & trade capabilities across channels.
• Innovation, Vendors & Fintech Partnerships: own vendor relationships and partner with tech vendors and fintechs.
• Evaluate vendors and fintechs for faster market access; develop integration and referral models.
• Assess vendor proposals for client value, economics, integration effort, controls and regulatory compliance.
• Work within governance for technology investments while maintaining speed and commercial focus.
• Enterprise Channel Partnership: collaborate with Banking and Technology teams to identify reusable capabilities and joint solutions.
• Define strategic positioning for Business Bridge Premier and cross-channel investments.
• Establish governance for pricing, onboarding, authentication, and client experience across platforms.
• Represent channel needs in governance forums and translate demand into prioritized capabilities.
• Drive adoption and commercialization of new capabilities and monitor ROI across channels.
