Job summary

Confidential Executive Search in Richmond, VA is partnering with a large, privately held organization to identify its next Chief Financial Officer, a strategic leader who connects the numbers to the bigger business and drives sustainable, profitable growth.

The CFO will partner with the President, executive leadership and global stakeholders to shape financial strategy, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and companywide performance across a geographically dispersed operation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in finance
• Experience with business integrations, transformation or complex multi-site organizations
• MBA, CPA or equivalent credentials preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the President, executive leadership and global stakeholders
• Lead financial strategy, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and companywide performance
• Drive long-term value creation, profitability and margin improvement
• Establish meaningful KPIs and performance metrics across the organization
• Provide financial leadership around investments, integrations, expansion and strategic initiatives
• Oversee financial reporting, risk management, internal controls, audit and regulatory compliance
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Finance & Accounting organization
• Navigate a complex, geographically dispersed business within a global organization
