Job summary

Adecco, on behalf of a global aerospace manufacturer, seeks a Ceramic Core Engineer Leader to drive advanced ceramic core processes for turbine components. You will lead development, scale a greenfield operation, and push improvements across forming, molding, and thermal steps.

The role involves international travel, leadership of cross-functional teams, and direct impact on manufacturing strategy with strong growth and relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in ceramics processing, investment casting, foundry operations, injection molding, or advanced materials manufacturing.
• Experience with process development, manufacturing optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of SPC, Minitab, Excel, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing methods and materials characterization.
• Familiarity with GD&T and dimensional inspection.
• Passport required or ability to obtain for international travel.
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for ceramic materials and core manufacturing processes.
• Develop and scale a greenfield ceramic core manufacturing operation.
• Drive process improvements in forming, injection molding, thermal processing, finishing, and strengthening.
• Improve yield, quality, process control, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Troubleshoot dimensional and structural defects through root cause analysis.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, tooling, and engineering teams globally.
• Utilize SPC methodologies and data analysis to improve process capability and product quality.
• Travel internationally to support manufacturing sites and best-practice implementation.
