Qualifications

• 4+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations and global contract management
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or business
• Experience with Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience in global supply chain management and cross-functional teams
• Experience managing optics, optical assemblies, precision components, or equivalent technical commodities
• Experience using multiple ERP or procurement tools
• Master's degree in related field (preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering (preferred)
• Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategies and negotiate supplier contracts and statements of work
• Drive hardware delivery through product life cycle from requirements to on-dock
• Analyze industry trends to identify cost saving opportunities and supply risks
• Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes and technical decisions
• Manage cross-functional projects with clear documentation and follow-up
• Perform financial modeling for large and complex deals
• Monitor supplier performance including quality, on-time delivery, and cost
• Ensure timely release of orders to meet production needs
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams across regions
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed
