Job summary

FedEx is seeking a senior category manager to lead enterprise-wide sourcing strategies across multiple complex categories. You will shape category management, supplier relationships, risk management, and diversity initiatives while engaging executives and key stakeholders.

The role requires strong data analysis, negotiation, and project leadership skills, with a hybrid work arrangement across multiple U.S. locations including Pittsburgh, Memphis, and Plano.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics or other quantitative discipline.
• Four or more years of work experience in sourcing or related field; advanced degree may offset experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with data-driven decisions.
• Proven negotiating and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of enterprise-wide category management strategies.
• Develop and manage sourcing strategies for complex categories using FedEx methodology.
• Evaluate category/spend information, benchmarking, and supplier scorecard criteria.
• Negotiate with suppliers and lead cross-functional initiatives with executives.
