The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development Center (PDC) in Wauwatosa, WI seeks a Lead Global Category Manager to develop category strategies and manage key supplier contracts. You will lead cross-functional teams and drive cost improvements while overseeing quality, cost, and delivery performance across the supplier base.

Responsibilities include negotiation, master agreements, supplier risk mitigation, and presenting opportunities to senior management within the SM organization.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience in category management, procurement, supply chain, and/or operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and strategic sourcing for service parts.
• Strong negotiation and leadership capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Leads others to solve complex problems in supply management using analytical thought and judgment.
• Negotiates and manages key strategic supplier contracts and relationships.
• Plans and executes annual value propositions for owned spend with cross-functional teams.
• Lead Supplier Business Reviews with assigned suppliers.
• Identifies supplier risk and develops mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity.
