Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a detail‑oriented Cash Operations Specialist to manage daily cash receipts and maintain accurate records. You will work closely with Finance and firm leadership to ensure timely posting and clear communications across teams.

The role emphasizes problem solving, organization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, with overtime as needed. A relevant degree and ERP/Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent; Bachelor's is a plus.
• 3+ years of financial experience in a related role; law firm or professional services is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP software and Excel.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply daily receipts to the general ledger.
• Monitor daily banking activity and reconcile cash.
• Collaborate with Billing, Collections, Attorneys, and Secretaries to resolve issues.
• Provide real time updates and daily summaries to Finance leadership.
• Identify process improvements and maintain cash application technology.
