Job summary

Amentum seeks a cargo handling specialist to prepare freight for shipment, including packing and labeling, and to load/offload 463L pallets, containers, and trucks. The role requires safe operation of MHE and crane equipment in a busy air-terminal environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.Travel may be required; both office and warehouse work settings are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising a diverse international workforce is desired.
• Must be able speak, read, and write English at a beginner level.
• Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain a host nation driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares freight for shipment including packing, crating, weighing, labeling and documentation.
• Loads/offloads 463L pallets, containers and trucks.
• Operates MHE, wide body loaders and cranes per procedures.
• May use automated systems to process and document freight.
