Job summary

Compressed Air Systems, LLC is seeking a Full-time Crating Technician to safely prepare, crate, and ship products. The role requires forklift use, adherence to safety standards, and meeting tight deadlines.

You will perform final prep, build wood crates, assemble protective packaging, operate a saw and pneumatic tools, and load pallets. Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Trainable and willing to learn safety procedures.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Final prep of finished product.
• Crating and boxing finished product for LTL shipping.
• Assemble premade protective packaging.
• Assemble wood crates to protect shipments.
• Safely operate a saw to cut lumber to length.
• Safely operate pneumatic tools: nail gun, staple gun, etc.
• Operate forklift to place products on shipping pallets.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and operate equipment safely.
