Job summary

Jacintoport International seeks a detail-oriented logistics clerk to oversee daily cargo receipt, delivery, and records for export/import operations. The role requires strong data entry skills, interaction with customers to schedule appointments, and coordination with Miami inbound and Houston export departments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least five years in cargo logistics, plus basic MS Word/Excel/Outlook proficiency.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of five (5) years of cargo logistics experience.
Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience.
Intermediate English reading/writing/speaking.
Ability to operate office equipment (photocopiers, scanners) and voice mail.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily receipt, delivery and record-keeping of export/import cargo.
Enter and update cargo data in computer systems.
Establish cargo receiving and appointment procedures with customers.
Schedule import/export appointments for refrigerated and non-refrigerated cargo.
Coordinate deliveries and pickups with customers and internal teams.
Assist with invoicing/files and back-up Receiving Clerks.
