Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Director, Global Medical Cardiovascular, to lead the Worldwide Medical Affairs strategy for the Milvexian program, with a focus on atrial fibrillation and secondary stroke prevention. You will drive medical strategy, narrative, and stakeholder alignment across cross-functional teams worldwide.

This HQ-based role requires deep thrombosis and anticoagulation expertise, exceptional leadership, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, or PharmD with life sciences background.
• 8+ years in Medical Affairs/Medical Strategy or Clinical Research in pharma.
• Deep knowledge of thrombosis, anticoagulation, AF and stroke prevention; XIa is a plus.
• Translate complex data into global medical strategy for late-stage programs.
• Strong cross-functional leadership in a global matrix.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Worldwide Medical Affairs strategy for Milvexian in AF and stroke prevention.
• Lead the Milvexian AIMS team, aligning global medical deliverables.
• Define medical strategy and narrative incorporating XIa science and external landscape.
• Provide WW medical leadership for LIBREXIA-AF and LIBREXIA-STROKE programs.
• Coordinate with US Medical Lead and regional teams for alignment.
• Identify evidence gaps and develop Integrated Evidence Plans (IEPs).
• Oversee global medical data generation and Investigator Sponsored Research activities.
• Deliver Worldwide Medical Communications plans, including publications.
