Job summary

Pliant is building a leading B2B payments platform and is seeking an experienced Payment Program Manager to own card program implementations end to end. You will collaborate with card schemes, banking partners, processors and vendor teams to ensure successful launches and ongoing program health.

You will manage multiple programs across markets, driving digital wallet integrations and tokenisation, while maintaining compliance with scheme rules and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in payments, including hands-on card program implementation.
• Experience launching and managing programs with Visa and Mastercard.
• Experience launching digital wallets and tokenisation (Apple Pay issuer launch a plus).
• Solid understanding of the card lifecycle: auth, clearing, settlement, 3DS, tokenisation, and physical card production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch of card programs across markets and currencies from scoping to production release.
• Coordinate onboarding with Visa/Mastercard, including BIN and product setup and scheme submissions.
• Plan end-to-end testing with partners and sign off programs before launch.
• Coordinate card launches (physical and virtual) and ensure design approvals and production.
• Drive wallet launches (Apple Pay/Google Pay) from onboarding to go-live.
• Ensure programs comply with scheme rules and assist with reporting and audits.
• Be the main point of contact for programs and translate needs for Product & Engineering.
• Manage several projects in parallel with risk tracking and stakeholder updates.
• Improve launch/run processes using AI and automation.
