Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Global Capacity Planning Lead to drive end-to-end capacity decisions across its global manufacturing network. You will integrate demand forecasts, supply plans, asset assumptions, and strategic network choices to deliver a clear capacity outlook up to 36 months.

You will partner with Global Supply Chain, Site Planning, Finance, and Commercial teams to identify risks, evaluate mitigation scenarios, and support reliable product supply and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Relevant supply chain certs such as APICS/CPIM, Lean, or Six Sigma desirable.
• 10+ years in capacity/production/network planning in regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead global capacity planning across multiple sites and products.
• Develop and maintain a consolidated 0-36 month capacity outlook.
• Identify constraints and lead scenario analyses for mitigation.
• Translate demand/supply/network changes into capacity implications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align planning assumptions and actions.
• Support S&OP, IBP, and governance forums with capacity views.
• Develop, standardize, and improve planning models, tools, and data inputs.
• Provide insights for network strategy, capacity investments, and make-or-buy decisions.
