As a business development leader, you will manage strategic programs and initiatives aimed at driving impactful market development, boost US Defense sector mobile communications innovation to evolve towards next generations and ensure alignment with Ericsson’s strategic goals within the defense sector. This global position offers a unique opportunity to shape how defense organizations leverage mission-critical connectivity for operational excellence and influence Ericsson’s market leadership.

What You Will Do

  1. US Innovation Focus: Collaborate with Ericsson US local teams towards innovation within the U.S. Defense sector's mobile communications ecosystem, aligning strategies with Ericsson's goals to develop and deploy leading-edge solutions in support of the DoD's FutureG plans.
  2. Strategic Initiatives: Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives aimed at removing barriers, and strengthening partnerships, and will boost US Defense sector mobile communications innovation.
  3. Market Engagement: Engage with senior executives across industries to position Ericsson as a leader in MCN innovation, aligning offerings with strategic goals and driving industry forum participation.
  4. Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams working on high-impact market and business development programs, mentoring junior team members to build organizational capability in business development in the defense area.
  5. Performance Oversight: Ensure that market development initiatives are well-documented, tracked against agreed-upon milestones, and lead to quantifiable results for Ericsson.
