Job summary

Essense of Australia is seeking a Garment Technician for the US Collections team in Lenexa, KS. You will deliver accurate garment fit, construction, fabric, and quality assessments, coordinating daily with Design Development and Sampling teams and international factories.

The role requires travel up to four times per year and involves hands-on quality expertise across the garment life cycle, ensuring production meets design standards. Onsite work, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Apparel, Fashion, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical design or equivalent.
• Extensive understanding of garment construction, including sewing, pattern making, and grading, with ability to create and amend garment specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-body garment reviews throughout the approval process to ensure design changes are accurately represented.
• Develop technical packages with specs, fit comments, and fabric/trim requirements.
• Conduct technical inspections of samples and provide clear instructions to manufacturers.
