Job summary

Essense of Australia is seeking a Garment Technician Coordinator to join our Product Operations team in Osborne Park, WA. You will work with Design Administration, Sampling, and international factories to ensure fit, construction and quality across the product lifecycle.

The role is on-site and full-time, with travel to offshore factories and a focus on technical excellence in garments and trims. Strong CAD pattern making skills and knowledge of grading are highly valued.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in fashion, design, patternmaking or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience as Garment Technician, QA or Product Development in apparel/textile industry.
Knowledge of garment construction, sewing, pattern making and grading.
CAD pattern making is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Develop technical packages with specs, fit comments, grading rules and fabric/trim needs.
Inspect sample garments and relay clear instructions to manufacturers.
Analyse style instructions and sampling comments for garment construction and fabrics.
Travel regularly to offshore factories to review new collection samples.
Provide technical support through product lifecycle to maintain quality.
Maintain fit, construction and workmanship standards across factories.
Conduct QC inspections of bulk garments and report outcomes.
