Job summary

Digital Realty Trust, L.P. is seeking a Manager – BMS Architecture & Standards to lead global BMS standards across our data center portfolio.

You will bridge global architecture with real-world deployment, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable systems while aligning with business objectives. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Technology, and vendor partners to standardize practices, guide POC initiatives, and drive continuous improvement of BMS platforms, including integration

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Controls Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
5-8 years of experience with Building Management Systems in critical facilities or data centers.
Experience with leading BMS platforms (Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell) and industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation and evolution of global BMS standards across the data center portfolio.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Technology to align standards with business needs.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to engineering guidelines and best practices.
Evaluate proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies and controls solutions.
Collaborate with global BMS support teams to identify standardization opportunities.
Work with vendors to ensure consistent delivery standards and high-quality solutions.
Support maintenance, optimization, and modernization of BMS platforms.
Promote operational excellence by improving platform performance and reliability.
Assist in developing technical documentation and procedures.
Support cross-functional initiatives involving controls, monitoring, and facility technologies.
