Job summary

SOM in New York seeks a seasoned BIM Lead to drive firm-wide BIM workflows through the full project lifecycle. You will collaborate with the Design Technology team to set standards, develop automation, and streamline documentation across architecture and engineering disciplines.

The role requires expertise in Revit, Forma, and Dynamo, plus strong data management and coordination abilities to support construction administration and CO. This position is based in New York with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must hold a professional degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience applying and developing BIM workflows on large scale projects.
• Proficiency with Revit and related BIM tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee firm-wide BIM workflows across the full project lifecycle with the Design Technology team.
• Establish standards, assets, guidelines, and best practices for BIM workflows with BIM leaders.
• Develop, test, and deploy automation and standardized workflows to streamline documentation.
• Design and support digital workflows for coordination and Construction Administration.
• Lead BIM data management strategies and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Lead BIM leadership activities and collaborate with regional BIM leads and sustainability teams.
