Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Bridgewater, NJ is offering a Global Beverage Applications Intern role for Summer 2027. You will support the development and execution of research projects within Ingredion’s Global Beverage Category, exploring ingredient technologies, formulation strategies, and emerging consumer trends.

You will evaluate ingredient interactions, assess functionality in beverage applications, and generate insights addressing customer needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with lab research experience.
• Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment.
• Interpersonal, verbal and written technical communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to reach the facility each work day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature, patent and technology searches and summarize outcomes.
• Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data and report results with recommendations.
• Coordinate and report data generated from experiments.
• Maintain clear project records and communicate results to teams and partners.
• Present research findings with recommendations for future projects at internship end.
• Collaborate with colleagues, cross-functional teams and business partners to support goals.
