Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a Benefits Director to lead the strategy, evolution, and delivery of a complex benefits portfolio for a diverse workforce. Qualifications

• 10+ years in employee benefits/total rewards/health & welfare.
• 5+ years leading benefits strategy in large or complex orgs with US knowledge.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and presenting recommendations.
• Experience supporting global benefits or large-scale transformations.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Experience managing benefits vendors and contracts.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, administration and execution of health, welfare and time away programs.
• Develop multi-year benefits strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Lead a complex portfolio ensuring competitive, compliant programs.
• Evaluate performance data to optimize investments and outcomes.
• Build business cases balancing experience, affordability and risk.
• Partner with Legal, HR and Operations on governance and investments.
• Scale pilots and new solutions with product teams.
• Drive annual enrollment strategy and effective communications.
• Manage vendor partnerships and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead executive governance reporting and stakeholder communications.
