Job summary

Harvey is scaling its global benefits function and seeks a Director of Global Benefits to own strategy, design, and execution across the US and international markets. You will shape policy, lead a growing team, and partner with People Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Recruiting to deliver world-class benefits.

You will drive annual renewals, open enrollment, new-country launches, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance and cost-effective program design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in benefits, including 3+ years leading a team.
• Deep US benefits expertise across health, welfare, 401(k), leave, and compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA).
• Real international experience in EMEA/APAC with understanding of minimums as a floor.
• Strategic and hands-on: present to executives and resolve day-to-day eligibility/workflow details.
• Vendor and broker management: RFPs, renewals, contracting, and performance oversight.
• Financial fluency: build and defend budgets, model costs, explain tradeoffs.
• Exceptional communication translating complexity for all audiences.
• Builder mentality: thrives in ambiguity and new programs.
• AI experience: leveraging AI to streamline benefits work.

Responsibilities

• Define Harvey's global benefits philosophy and plan design for 10+ markets.
• Build program roadmaps for benefits, wellness, and leave with benchmarking insight.
• Grow the global benefits team and set service delivery standards with AI support.
• Oversee renewals, open enrollment, country launches, and vendor management.
• Ensure compliance across markets and manage the benefits budget with Finance.
