Job summary

Zuellig Pharma in the United States is seeking a senior business development professional to expand strategic client relationships with US-based pharmaceutical and CRO clients, driving growth for the Clinical Trial Support unit.

You will build multi-layered client relationships, manage RFI/RFP processes, and coordinate with global BD teams to achieve revenue targets while upholding the company's values and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business / supply chain & logistic / Life Science (or equivalent).
• 8–10 years in Business Development selling to pharma/Clinical Trial Industry.
• Extensive understanding of pharma and biotech R&D and CRO industry.
• Sales skills and strategic account development and leadership.
• Familiarity with Western and Asian business culture.
• Strong business acumen and commercial decision-making.
• Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills.
• GMP/GCP/GDP awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manages portfolio accounts with growth and retention strategies and measurable milestones.
• Builds and maintains multi-layered client relationships.
• Coordinates with BD teams to meet key budget objectives for target clients.
• Manages RFI/RFP/RFQ and due diligence through final disposition.
• Prepares proposals and budgets conveying value proposition and brand.
• Expands customer base through new client development in the territory.
• Monitors KPIs for KA performance measurement and revenue planning.
• Assists KAMs and drives growth and brand awareness in assigned area.
