Job summary

Arnold & Porter, an international law firm with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia, seeks a Business Development Coordinator to support marketing and BD activities for International Arbitration, International Trade, Legislative, and Global Law practice groups.

The role collaborates with BD managers and attorneys to enhance market visibility and strengthen client relationships, with a hybrid DC/NY location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 1 year in marketing, business development, or proposals, preferably in professional services or law.
• Experience with legal marketing and proposals preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools and marketing technologies preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Foundation preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of RFPs, pitches, and proposals from planning through submission.
• Collaborate with attorneys and marketing staff to develop client-focused materials.
• Identify content and ensure responsiveness and consistency.
• Coordinate research, data, and pricing with internal stakeholders.
• Manage production, assembly, delivery, and recordkeeping of submissions.
• Track outcomes and capture insights.
