Job summary

Lingaro is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to maintain and expand our data engineering platforms. You will design scalable, reusable components on the AWS native stack and deploy across multiple countries and business environments.

Collaborate with agile teams, apply Python and OOP best practices, and ensure code quality with CI/CD, testing, and robust data pipelines using Glue, Athena, Lambda, and DynamoDB.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python programming with data manipulation (pandas)
• Strong OOP and design patterns
• Experience with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, DynamoDB)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and version control (VCS)
• 5–10 years of data engineering on global or large-scale projects (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Data Engineering platforms on AWS
• Build modular Python components reusable across countries
• Apply OOP to scalable data processing solutions
• Collaborate in agile teams to deliver on schedule
• Diagnose and fix data pipelines across AWS (Glue/Step Functions/Lambda)
• Ensure code quality with testing and deployment automation
