Job summary

eBusiness Technologies Corp. is seeking an AWS Data Engineer with 5+ years of ETL development experience to modernize legacy data ecosystems and design large-scale data pipelines on AWS.

You will leverage AWS Glue, PySpark, Lambda, and event-driven ingestion to build scalable, cost-efficient cloud data platforms. The role emphasizes strong SQL and Redshift internals, including WLM, distribution keys, and federated queries, along with IAM security and data governance across multi-account

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with ETL development.
• Experience modernizing legacy data ecosystems (Mainframe, SQL Server, flat files, XML/CSV).
• Ability to design and orchestrate large-scale data pipelines on AWS.
• Strong SQL skills and expertise in query optimization for high-volume data.
• Hands-on Redshift internals knowledge including WLM, distribution keys and federated queries.
• Security-minded with AWS IAM and data governance in multi-account environments.
• Proficiency in Python-based ETL frameworks and CI/CD automation for data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI/ML services (Bedrock) for embedded analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and orchestrate large-scale data pipelines on AWS.
• Migrate and modernize legacy data ecosystems to Redshift data warehouse.
• Implement secure, cost-optimized cloud-native data platforms.
• Develop modular ETL pipelines with CI/CD for automated deployments.
