Job summary

BCforward in Plano, TX seeks a data engineer to design, develop, and support AWS-based data lake and analytics solutions, building scalable data pipelines and orchestration workflows.

You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade data solutions using Snowflake, Python, and cloud-native technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing AWS-based data lake and analytics solutions.
• Strong background in building scalable data pipelines and cloud-native data solutions.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Python, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring and security workflows (CloudWatch/Splunk).
• Experience with AI tools/workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support AWS-based data lake and analytics solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and orchestration workflows.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and implement CI/CD best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data platform performance, security, and governance.
