Job summary

Winrock International is seeking a Consultant to help the Awards Management team review terms and conditions for opportunities and for grants and contracts awarded to the organization. The role involves ensuring compliance with award terms, applicable regulations, and WI policy, supervising and interpreting requirements, and helping develop guidance documents and tools for program staff worldwide.

You will work with global teams to identify gaps, provide training, and support ongoing governance

Qualifications

Deep understanding of the international development donor landscape.
Ability to interpret diverse donor regulations and assess contractual risk.
Experience managing awards from private foundations and corporate donors.
Knowledge of multilateral development banks and international organizations funding rules.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to ensure award functions are implemented consistently worldwide.
Coordinate with Awards Management to develop, review and revise award documents and support negotiations of award terms.
Prepare and deliver award briefs, advising on award compliance requirements.
Create sub agreement templates to comply with funders' requirements.
Research funder rules and recommend risk mitigation strategies and solutions to program staff.
Remain current on changes within the industry and provide training and refresher sessions.
Perform additional responsibilities relevant to the above as assigned.
