Job summary

World Vision International (New) is seeking a Senior Grant and Contract Officer in the Legal and Compliance Division. This one-year, time-limited position may extend up to four years, with remote options in the United States and on-site in Federal Way, WA or Washington, DC.

You will manage diverse federal and non-federal grants and contracts, draft and negotiate agreements, ensure compliance, and support audits while guiding risk and policy improvements across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, eight years of work experience required.
• Experience in accounting, business administration, finance, legal, grant or contract fields; 5–8 years.
• Gateway 2 Grants and TOT certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison for acquiring, managing, and ensuring compliance for diverse federal and non-federal grants, contracts, and other funding mechanisms.
• Compose and negotiate legal documents including teaming agreements, subgrants, amendments, professional service agreements, and nondisclosures.
• Provide guidance on regulations, compliance, grant administration, and audit readiness across programs and field offices.
• Monitor subgrantee compliance, implement corrective actions for non-compliance, and support audits.
• Coordinate development and improvement of WVUS policies and systems to ensure compliance with laws and funder requirements.
