Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a skilled professional to lead the design and construction oversight of complex corporate facilities, primarily at domestic airports, with potential international locations under corporate standards.

You will develop project scope, plans and budgets, prepare bid documents, and oversee multiple outside consultants and vendors while ensuring schedules and costs align with business goals. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent experience/training.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong ability to understand business needs and make decisions based on project goals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and definition documents with multiple user groups and stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, estimates, budgets and schedules.
• Prepare bid/proposal documents and internal funding papers.
• Evaluate and select outside consultants, contractors and vendors; manage notice-to-proceed to closeout.
