UPS in New York is seeking a permanent, full-time Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient fleet. You will supervise maintenance, manage external vendors, and coordinate equipment repairs across multiple shifts. The role involves audits, cost tracking, and driving improvements in fuel, parts, and labor efficiency.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and automotive repair experience is strongly preferred. Travel up to 25% internationally may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent.
• Automotive Repair Experience strongly preferred.
• Proven management experience and ability to supervise others.

Responsabilités

• Supports automotive safety and regulatory compliance by conducting facility audits and coordinating safety training.
• Ensures adequate inventory levels (e.g., parts, tires) to support business processes.
• Works with other groups to prevent, identify, and resolve equipment and service problems.
• Adheres to purchasing limits, expense approval procedures, and equipment disposal guidelines.
• Reviews and approves automotive expenses.
• Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves performance issues.
