Job summary

UPS seeks a fleet and facilities supervisor to maintain a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient vehicle fleet across multiple sites. You will oversee asset care, manage vendor relationships, and work with auto technicians and internal customers on various shifts.

Responsibilities include scheduling preventive maintenance, reviewing results, analyzing failures for root causes, coordinating repairs with drivers and vendors, and monitoring expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent.
• Automotive Repair Experience strongly preferred.
• Proven Management Experience.
• Willing to travel internationally up to 25%.
• Ability to understand policies and procedures within business operations.
• Ability to manage equipment repair and oversee the correction of problems with tools, machinery, and other standard technical equipment.
• Ability to manage inspections, physical assets and relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supports automotive safety and regulatory compliance by conducting facility audits and coordinating safety and regulatory training.
• Ensures adequate inventory levels (e.g., parts, tires, etc.) to support business processes.
• Works with other groups to prevent, identify, and resolve equipment and service problems.
• Adheres to purchasing limits, expense approval procedures, and equipment disposal guidelines.
• Reviews and approves automotive expenses.
• Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues.
