Job summary

MSD is seeking a Field Services Engineer II to support installation, maintenance, and servicing of automated assay systems for a global client base.

The role emphasizes on-site and remote troubleshooting, documentation, and training material development, with significant travel and cross-functional collaboration to improve field operations. A biology-related degree and 5+ years of field service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in field service engineering, systems integration or related roles.
• Hands-on with automated laboratory systems and robotics; familiar with ISO/GDP standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, and on-site support of automated assay systems.
• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Develop training materials and customer-facing documentation.
• Maintain detailed service records and collaborate with engineering for improvements.
• Travel extensively to support global client installations and service.
