Job summary

The International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board is seeking a self-motivated leader to coordinate and drive delivery of its work program. You will serve as a spokesperson for staff and build relationships with regulators, standard setters, and senior stakeholders across a multi‑cultural environment.

You will craft standard-setting solutions with Board members and experts, support the senior technical team, and manage dissemination of IAASB work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the delivery of complex projects in a public-interest oriented environment.
• Knowledge of audit and assurance issues; standard-setting experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent English; additional languages desirable.
• Strong technical and project management skills with high computer literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accountancy or related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant post-qualification work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct information gathering and research with regulators, jurisdictional and international standard setters, policy makers, investors and other users of financial reporting around the world.
• Develop standards, non-authoritative materials, consultation papers and publications within a project team engaging with other teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare materials for IAASB/IESBA groups and action outcomes of discussions and decisions.
• Act as a liaison with key stakeholders for assigned projects and activities.
• Support outreach activities with Board leadership and senior technical team.
• Assist in producing quarterly reports to the Public Interest Oversight Board on IAASB activities.
• Travel approximately 20 days per year, depending on projects and activities.
