Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to lead and evolve the Group Audit function from our Schaumburg, Illinois headquarters. The role oversees a global portfolio of audits, partners with regional leaders, and ensures risks are assessed and addressed in a timely manner.

The position requires a minimum 10 years in audit with strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities, in a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 10+ years in Audit
• High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 12+ years in Audit
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate’s degree and 10+ years in Audit

Responsibilities

• Work with Functional and Regional Audit Executives to perform risk assessments and shape the audit plan across the group.
• Oversee and manage a portfolio of audits focusing on commercial property and casualty insurance topics.
• Provide subject matter expertise across audit processes including scoping, reports, and stakeholder meetings.
• Track and close agreed actions and drive audit capability evolution.
• Identify trends and influence stakeholders; report themes to Group and local executives and Audit Committees.
• Develop peer relationships with Business stakeholders and support leadership discussions.
• Oversee team performance and support career development.
