Job summary

Zurich North America is hiring a Sr. Audit Manager based at our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.

The role operates in a hybrid model with three days in the office and two remote days, partnering with GA leaders to evolve audit capabilities and manage a portfolio of risk-based audits across commercial property and casualty topics. The ideal candidate has extensive audit experience, strong leadership, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in the Audit area. OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 12 or more years of experience in the Audit area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate’s degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Audit area

Responsibilities

• Work with Functional and Regional Audit Executives to perform risk assessments and shape the audit plan.
• Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of risk-based audits focusing on commercial property and casualty insurance topics.
• Provide subject matter expertise across audit processes including scoping, audit reports and stakeholder meetings.
• Oversee tracking and closure of agreed actions.
• Support evolution of audit capabilities and upskilling within the team.
• Identify trends and report themes to Group and local executives and Audit Committees.
• Support Business Audit Leaders in stakeholder discussions and build influential relationships.
• Oversee performance and development of team members.
