Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking an experienced Project Manager to organize and lead complex design and construction initiatives in our entertainment campus. You will define scope, manage budgets and schedules, oversee bid processes, and coordinate engineering decisions and production documentation in line with UDX Performance Specifications.

You will route and secure approvals for contracts, monitor progress, mitigate claims, and minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years progressive experience in design/engineering firm with theme park design and construction management.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects and contractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents (drawings, specs, scope, general conditions) and oversee design development to align with budget and schedule.
• Develop and bid using RFPs, manage bidder lists, schedules, and related bid documentation.
• Oversee vendor contracts, evaluate technical performance and contract compliance, manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Monitor construction schedule changes, review weekly look-ahead, and implement recovery plans as needed.
• Prepare capital funding requests and project budgets; ensure EH&S compliance and enforcement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
