Job summary

Monster Energy seeks an Assistant International Controller to oversee financials for APAC and LATAM entities, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate monthly closes, including balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls.

You will supervise the accounting team, review statutory audits and tax returns, drive process improvements, consolidate financial statements, and travel up to 10%; SAP and Excel proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA/CA/MBA in Finance preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes with reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and country accounting standards.
• Supervise AP/AR and manage accounting teams.
• Review statutory audits and tax returns for international entities.
• Improve close efficiency and accuracy.
