Job summary

Monster Energy seeks an Assistant International Controller to lead financial operations for APAC and LATAM entities from our US base. This role reports to the International Controller and focuses on close processes, controls, and accurate reporting under GAAP.

You will supervise accounting activities, consolidate statements, manage AP/AR, and develop teams while ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA / CA / MBA – Finance preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
• Experience in private and public accounting sectors preferred.
• Strong timeliness and quality of work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel.
• Ability to travel up to 10%+.

Responsibilities

• Financial statement preparation and close for international entities.
• Review international controls and implement procedures.
• Ensure monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting using company tools.
• Oversee general ledger analyses and accounting activities.
• Review country statutory audits and tax returns.
• Support monthly/quarterly/annual close and consolidate statements.
• Manage AP/AR and day-to-day accounting.
• Lead and develop Accounting Managers.
