Chemours in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking an Associate Category Manager - Assets (Enterprise Asset Procurement Manager) to lead financing, leasing, and lifecycle management for global asset portfolios including railcars, ISO tanks, mobile equipment, and trailers. You will optimize total cost of ownership and drive governance across Operations, Finance, and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 8+ years in asset management, procurement, finance, or industrial operations.
• Minimum of 5 years leading global, regional, or cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing asset portfolios, supplier/banking relationships, leasing programs, and capex.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute asset financing and leasing strategies with banks, leasing providers, and partners.
• Optimize asset utilization and total cost of ownership across manufacturing, logistics, and facilities.
• Lead strategic sourcing, RFP/RFQ, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Develop lease-vs-buy recommendations and support capital planning.
• Conduct financial modeling (NPV, IRR, ROI, TCO, lifecycle cost) and spend analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury and Accounting on ASC 842/IFRS 16 compliance.
• Establish asset governance, reporting, and compliance metrics.
• Drive asset visibility using analytics and digital procurement tools.
• Lead and develop asset management and procurement teams.
