Job summary

Aksia is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate Accountant to support our Administration team with invoice preparation, client billing, payment tracking, and AR reconciliations. This role is based in Aksia’s Athens office and involves regular interaction with global colleagues and clients.

The role operates during 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Greek local time and requires an undergraduate degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting, 3+ years AR experience in a multinational environment, and strong Excel and

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field with strong academic record.
• 3+ years of AR experience in a multinational environment.
• Experience with invoicing, cash applications, reconciliations and collections follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and record client invoices in AR system.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue balances.
• Apply customer payments and reconcile cash receipts.
• Reconcile customer accounts, bank activity and AR subledger balances.
• Respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
• Process billing adjustments, credit notes and refunds per policy.
• Ensure documentation and audit trail for AR transactions.
• Assist month-end closing activities related to AR.
