Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Sr Manager for Application Support & Ops Services in a hybrid role. You will oversee global production support for core manufacturing systems, drive incident and problem management, and coordinate transitions from project phases to steady-state operations.

You will lead a diverse AiMS team across locations, promote best practices, and advance automation and AI-enabled improvements to support critical business processes worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in application support or service delivery.
• Familiarity with GxP environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing-related systems.
• Strong diplomacy and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and trend analysis.
• Experience with production support per SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage global Core environments support and define SLA expectations.
• Oversee incident, problem, change and configuration management activities.
• Provide SME technical support and enterprise-wide guidance.
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements and automation.
• Coordinate transition of support from project teams to ongoing operations.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across locations and teams.
