Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Customer Success & Technical Leadership role to lead a global Application Engineering team, drive customer adoption of MIPS technologies, and partner with Sales, Product, and Programs to ensure strategic account growth.

The role emphasizes executive reporting, KPI ownership, and collaboration across engineering, product, and commercial teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in semiconductor, embedded systems, AI, software, or related engineering.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical or customer-facing teams.
• Proven experience leading strategic customer engagements and driving successful outcomes.
• Strong background in semiconductor IP, SoCs, embedded processing, AI acceleration or related tech.
• Experience establishing KPIs, developing operational dashboards, and presenting exec reviews.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of Application Engineers for onboarding, solution enablement, software integration, design implementation, technical issue resolution, deployment, and production ramp.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and strategic customer engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with customer engineering, architecture, product, and executive stakeholders.
• Drive successful customer adoption of MIPS technologies and ensure achievement of customer objectives and milestones.
• Lead technical reviews, workshops, enablement activities, and executive customer engagements.
• Act as the Voice of the Customer by communicating requirements, technical challenges, and market feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and Customer Program Management to support strategic account growth.
• Ensure successful post-design-win execution by providing technical leadership, customer enablement, and engineering engagement necessary to accelerate adoption and deployment.
• Monitor customer health, adoption progress, and risks to drive business outcomes.
• Define, track, and report KPIs; present exec dashboards and reviews.
