Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. seeks an Application Engineering Manager to lead a global team delivering customer onboarding, solution enablement, and production ramp for GF technologies. You will be the primary escalation point and will drive executive customer engagements and strategic reviews.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Programs to ensure adoption of GF IP and AI accelerators, while maintaining robust KPI dashboards and workforce planning. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years in semiconductor, embedded systems, AI, software, or related engineering.
• 5+ years leading technical or customer-facing engineering teams.
• Experience leading strategic customer engagements and driving outcomes.
• Strong background in semiconductor IP, SoCs, embedded processing, AI acceleration, software platforms.
• Experience with KPI setting, dashboards, and executive reviews.
• Experience with resource planning, forecasting, and organizational performance management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of Application Engineers supporting onboarding, solution enablement, and production ramp.
• Serve as primary escalation point for technical issues and strategic customer engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with customer engineering, architecture, product, and executives.
• Drive customer adoption of MIPS technologies and achievement of milestones.
• Lead technical reviews, workshops, enablement activities, and executive engagements.
• Act as Voice of the Customer to Product Management and Engineering.
• Define and track KPIs, and own executive dashboards and scorecards.
• Present regular business reviews to executives and manage staffing and capacity.
