Polaris Wireless in Santa Clara, CA seeks an Accounts Payable Accountant to manage multi-currency AP, ensure GAAP compliance, and coordinate with auditors. You will handle vendor invoices, W-9s, 1099s, and tax reporting while maintaining accurate accruals and fixed assets.

The role requires 3–5 years in AP, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, and independence to own the function with attention to detail. Competitive compensation and stock options are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable operations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, tax rules (W-9/1099).
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and audits.

Responsabilités

• Review and post expense reports and vendor invoices in QuickBooks.
• Prepare wire transfers and check batches for disbursement cycles.
• Prepare forms for contractors/non-employees for IRS reporting.
• Maintain vendor agreements, payable files, and W-9 documentation.
• Review and post accruals for contractor expenses and other liabilities.
• Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare annual property tax returns.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns.
• Prepare and file annual 1099 forms.
• Assist with annual audit procedures.
