Job summary

Propio Language Services in Overland Park, KS seeks a motivated Global Accounts Payable Intern to gain hands-on experience in bill coding, vendor management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow analysis under the guidance of our A/P team.

You will input invoices with AI-powered workflows, support day-to-day operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This internship offers mentorship, practical finance exposure, and the potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Active involvement in campus, community, or other volunteer activities preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Interest in learning and contributing to a variety of [Department] functions.
• Prior internship or office experience a plus, but not required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Support the finance team in day-to-day accounts payable operations.
• Help input invoices and bills using cutting edge, AI-powered workflows.
• Assist with vendor payments, payment inquiries and expense tracking.
• Review and organize financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial data.
• Assist in addressing contractor pay questions and routing them to the appropriate operations group when necessary.
• Update or enhance documentation for standard operating procedures for recurring accounts payable tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations and special projects.
